The Law Offices of Amelia L. Ramer is an experienced full-service immigration law firm focusing primarily on facilitating applications with the USCIS (the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, formerly known as The Immigration and Naturalization Service [INS] and  later, the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services [BCIS]) for

As a sole practitioner, I operate out of a comfortable, home-like setting in Reston, Virginia.  However, thanks to modern technology, many clients never need to meet me in person.  Therefore, I have clients in many parts of the U.S.  When the time comes for an immigration hearing, I am available to come to the USCIS office nearest your location and accompany you to the hearing in person. 

I operate my immigration law firm on a basis of excellence and thoroughness.  I explore the facts of each case in detail and establish fair fee structures for each one.  Should you wish to be my client, we will begin our relationship with an affordable initial consultation of about an hour for $150.  During this initial consultation, together, we will identify all relevant issues and plan our strategy for getting your immigration applications or other actions underway.

I keep my overhead, low so can keep my fees reasonable and.  For most types of applications and hearings, there will be a standard fee, not including the required USCIS filing fees.
